The Friends of Alberta Junior Hockey Society are proud to announce the recipients of $56,000.00 in scholarships for the 2017/2018 season. The annual scholarships are awarded to hockey players, alumni, trainers, and on ice officials who are currently, or have played junior hockey in Alberta, and are currently enrolled at a post secondary school in the province.
The Friends of Alberta Junior Hockey Society Scholarship program has awarded $871,500.00 in scholarships since the program began in 1985.
CHARLES S. NOBLE SCHOLARSHIPS The Charles S. Noble Scholarship is awarded to players and alumni currently taking full-time courses at post-secondary schools in Alberta, The scholarships are presented on behalf of the Student Aid Department of Alberta Education, and the Friends of Alberta Junior Hockey Society program. The Friends of Alberta Junior Hockey Society would like to acknowledge the Province of Alberta Student Aid Department for their support for providing matching funds for this scholarship.
